Due to the popularity of our weekly Travel metrics, we decided to publish it on the UK Travel Blog - Google's one stop shop for our Travel trends and research!
The Travel metrics cover weekly query developments for desktop as well as mobile Search and is divided into the following categories:
- The Travel industry as a whole
- Hotels
- Flights
- Car Hire
- Packages/ Holidays
- Cruise
The Travel metrics also covers quarter on quarter growth volumes for Impression, Click, CTR and CPC movements. Due to compliance reasons, these metrics are only shown for closed quarters.
In addition, we have included a YouTube page highlighting an interesting video, as well as a tip from our YouTube team.
The underlying keyword sets for each category, except for "Packages", are pre-categorized and automatically generated. The "Packages" category comprises a hand-picked set of the top 10,000 holiday/packages keywords.
